Arabian Prince Grade II winner on July 4,2010

July 4, Maharaja Cup Grade II event won by Arabian Prince

At the time of racing important planetary aspect was Sun Square Moon,

Sun Opposition Node, Moon square Node breeding point of view. In astrology Sun rules father, (Sire) and moon rules mother (Dam). The Node rules heredity. Pedigree of runners. " Sirono" ( Emerald Cat- Sahara Street) Filly won the Deccan Chronicle Juvenile Million Grade 3 event in Banaglore. She won in a tight finish from Carla ( Burden of Proof-Cool Jazz). Carla was not disgraced in her defeat.
Sirono was named based on Pedigreestar system. Name was suggested based on astro planetary positions and pedigree chart.
Names do matter in horse racing. While giving names we also see that fillies/ mares are named in a such way that when they become broodmares, breeding potential gets maximum recognition.

An Appeal To Thoroughbred Professionals

It is really sad to know that races in Bangalore have been cancelled. By court order Bangalore races will be closed Sept 22 onwards. In such hour of crisis it is important that all the professionals should come together for collective interest. I am not aware the problems of trainers, owners or BTC. My sincere wish is that show must go on. Continuation of racing in Bangalore should be the top priority.

Based on my astrological knowledge and experience I appeal to all the stake holders

"Start racing in Bangalore on May 16, 2010 by all means" in the interest of thoroughbred industry as a whole if racing is started on May 16, 2010 it will be very beneficial to everyone.

Astrologically starting point of any activity is always very important. The day is Akshay Tritiya considered most auspicious day in Hindu Calendars. The activities carried out gives lasting influence. All the astronomical pointers are very good. If racing is started in Bangalore on May 16, 2010 there is good possibility that nature will give some solution. Probability is very high that it may change the destiny of Bangalore races.

As such there is no solution at present; this is one of the ideas that may change the destiny of so many people. Astronomical pointers are good for Bangalore latitude

Indian National Calendar

Indian National Calendar

Today is the first race day at Mumbai in New Year i.e. Indian National Calendar year saka 1932. Unfortunately most of the Indians are not aware of this calendar. Hence I am giving this info. Astrologically first start has always a major significance.

Calendars have been integral part of civilizations. Almost all the major civilizations have their own calendars. Most of these calendars are in tune with nature. Either solar based or lunar based. The Gregorian calendar used all over world has practically no co relation with the nature. The year starts on Jan 1, which has no significance astronomically. Months have uneven 30 or 31 days. The earlier Julian calendar was modified by deleting 10 days in 1582 and Gregorian calendar started in use.( Oct 5,1582 was counted as Oct 15,582) on the orders of Pope Gregory XIII on the advise of astronomers. Unfortunately so called rationalist people including western world are still using this calendar.

Visionary leader Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru set up a Calendar reform committee in 1952 under the leadership of eminent scientist Vikram Sarabhai. Based on their recommendations Indian National Calendar was introduced on March 22, 1957 with saka era 1879, Chaitra 1 as first date.

The year of National calendar begins with Chaitra 1 on March 22 in each year and on March 21 in leap year. The months of the calendar have got fixed number of days.

The beginning dates of each month are as follows. First six months have 31 days in leap year as day is longer duration from March to Sept. Balance six months have 30 days. Astronomically it is the most perfect calendar in the world. The possibility of an error occurring in next 3000 years is negligible. Unfortunately it is not in use. On TV and Radio dates are announced. On all Govt. Gazette papers dates are marked. RBI has directed all banks to honor instruments with national calendar dates. Not only for thoroughbred industry but overall it will be beneficial for everyone. Astrology has a solid foundation of science in astronomy. After started using Indian National calendar dates I had very good success. In the leap year Chaitra 1 starts on March 21. If 100 crore Indians start using this calendar world will have to use it. Lot of info is available on the net. Also dates converters are also available. I am developing software for use in thoroughbred breeding industry incorporating Indian National calendar dates. Research Methodology
Research is carried out by Shri Ravi Gowande. Well versed with Indian, western, kabalistic numerology and astrological systems. Staunch practical approach towards life lead him to study the reasons behind political, Economical, Geographical events, including natural disasters earth quake, cyclones etc. has extensively interacted with various organization.
The predictions given were based on fixed stars and locations; the data collected was authentic since it was collected from concerned authorities.
Every subject was handled in depth, after getting detailed understanding.
Study was initiated for horse racing and astrology. While collecting information, it was found that proper record is maintained for almost of 400 years by the thoroughbred industry, startled by the fact, the first question was why? Why in England, then after 150 years prominence got shifted to USA, now why action is shifting to Middle East as far as stakes are concerned. Simple planetary aspects or motions cannot be connected to 300 or 400 years of development. Such long lasting influences needed to be linked with equally something big. Extensive data feeding, back tracking of events was done, and result gave insight to beautiful world of Fixed stars, Soros series of eclipse and their long lasting effects. Detailed analysis was done, especially on various sire lines, derby records, graded race years were tracked. Performance of the horses their year of birth and their back history was connected well with few Soros series. Sample saros series page from NASA website included. Racing performers were analyzed with pedigree, foal date horoscopes, name horoscopes etc. from all over the globe. International events were specifically chosen to reduce individual biased attitude, as tracks, runners; racing conditions are totally different than India.
Initially using medium of internet, it was possible to get in touch with many pedigree professional & specialist from thoroughbred industry, site visits and communication with veterinary doctors, helped us to understand the needs and few limitation faced, which can probably be met to some extent using Astronomical influences.
During the course of research, came across ‘dosage system’. While testing the authenticity or to get better understanding of the system, was blessed enough to get the answers to various queries sent to Mr. Steve Roman. His welcome approach along with few disagreements, benefited to innovate our system. The backtracking in Dosage system is about 3 generations; while my system backtracks up to 90 years or even more if need be, and this is a huge advantage.
In order to understand breeding of thoroughbred various techniques of breeding Dosage, Female Families, Nick patterns, X factor, Genetics etc were checked. After lot of considerations Dosage was chosen as most suitable for application of astrological principles. Foal dates of Chef De Race sires are available. Horoscopes were analyzed extensively for their racing performance as well as stud performance. Dosage is suitable as traits propagated by these sires is already established, classified. And were analyzed with the horoscopes. More than 2500 Named horoscopes, 5000 Foal dates Horoscopes were analyzed. 63 CDR Sire’s horoscopes provided the significant confirmation of the system. To name a few Phalaris 1913, Man O War 1917, Hyperion 1930 Nasrullah 1940, Bold Ruler , Round Table 1954, Northern Dancer 1961 etc. If you notice these are the sires who have initiated their own distinct sire lines. Other than CDR many of other Sires were also checked. Two horses with same foal date but with different pedigrees were checked for racing as well as stud performances. In order to validate the system race tracks, racing animals all over globe were checked for their racing performance. In North America, Europe, Australia and India. On regular basis for 4 years.
For the last 4 years have been posting views, comments, forecast for major international events on the net. Interacted with various pedigree professionals. For practical application veterinary doctors were consulted.
Astrological Science is very well developed in India. However new methods, applications are not being used. Being an Electrical Safety Auditor has helped to initiate systematic approach along with safety as priority.
Constant testing is carried to maintain the viability, and to keep the system updated with new inputs.

Researched conclusions are put under reality checks again under different conditions, and procedures. Even Female family system of Bruce Lowe was researched partially but found unsuitable as statistical data of progeny is limited to 10 or 12 whereas Chef De Race Sire is producing 600 to 800 foals in a lifespan.
Compatibility charts are made taking into consideration of female family. In our opinion Nick patterns is nothing but similar system in which horoscopes are matched for their planets. In USA they are using more mathematical models, this is the brief methodology adopted by me and research continues till date.

McDowell Signature Indian Derby (Gr.1) 2010

Astrological perspective of the derby.

Astrologically day is good, no hard planetary aspects. Favourite has good chance to win.Favourite means first 2, 3 horses on tote board. Jacqueline is Fav no 1, followed by Becket.Both are exceptionally talented horses. However time of the racing is favourable for Jockey's. I.e when no prominent planets are aspecting ascendant or meridian then Point of Fortune becomes very important. This gives an advantage for the Jockeys. Purely on ridding skills, talents jockeys can make huge upsets. For the time of racing no important planets aspecting Ascendant & Meridian but Point of Fortune is aspected by Sun, Saturn & Node.Node is ruling pedigree, Family, relationships. Sun rules favourites or Jockeys on the top of the table.Moon in Scorpio which is sign of regeneration, rejuvenating is good for K.Fallon, Ramaswamy stables
It is absolutely necessary for trainers to consider historical trends of the big races. Astrology is a good tool to understand this. First Derby was run on Jan 30, 1943 in Mumbai & won by Princess Beautiful. Planetary aspects clearly points to Saturn & Node prominent in the first derby chart. This confirms the pattern of Favourites not winning the derby as Saturn & node always brings upsets.Second horses with good pedigree even if their actual performance is not that good, are capable of raising their performance on the D day. Late maturing type horses have more chances in the Indian derby.
Considering all the above points
My First Choice is Onassis with K.Fallon
& Amazing Ray or Classerville can upset.
Astral Flash will be definitely in place.

Astrologically the day is a Favourite day, Normally out of10 races 6 to 7 races will be won by the first or second favourite on the tote board. However the time of racing is also important factor. Historically Indian Oaks winners do not go on to win the Indian Derby. The last filly to win both the races was Amazing bay in 1996. Last year Set Alight should been run in the Oaks to ensure a win in the Indian Derby. If Jacqueline is to win Indian Derby then an upset is expected.

Synergy rating of 59 % is very good for mating with Don Micheletto. Consideration is given to Stallions. In my opinion broodmare is key to breeding better produce. In the case of Sparks as Lansubury is in the critical years Actual ability of Don Michelletto was transmitted by Lansbury. Genetics research has already confirmed that hereditary traits are transmitted through female side, which confirms the astrology, In India lot Nakshatras (Fixed Stars) like Aslesha, Mula, Jyeshtha etc are considered to propagate hereditary traits. This years Ky derby contenders are evenly matched. There is no outstanding performer in this very competative field. Its an open derby everyone has a chance to win this race. It depends on Jockeys skill, talent and ridding experiance at Kentucky derby which will ensure win for the connections. Astrologically day is an ordinery day. Herewith we are giving our performance assessment for Breeders Cup 08.

As per our Astrological Forecast for 2 days, First ladies day was good for Favourites, and 2nd day was not good for favourites has come true. There were plenty of upsets on the second day. Most important being Curlin ot winning the cup for the second time. As specifically mentioned in the BC turf Sprint Cup a very long shot at 30 to1 had won Desert Code. Out of 108 horses we had selected only 21 Names from the runners. These runners were chosen purely based on Name Horoscope for the day That is 24 Oct and 25 Oct. Form, Class, Jockey, Trainer, breeding nothing was taken into consideration. It was a very Bold Move on our part but I feel we have proved our point. Of the Selected 21 Names 7 Names are in the money. and with good pay out ( Storm Treasure, Rebellion.) 2 runners are 4 th. Curlin and Soldier of Fortune. In India 4 th place is in the Money.As expected our most dependable runner Goldikova has won. Name Horoscopes do work. If we had time and availability of Foal date of runners our results would have been much better. As we wanted to test the NAME SYSTEM ,9 OUT OF 21 RUNNERS IS GOOD PERCENTAGE CONSIDERING NO OTHER HANDICAPPING ANGLE WAS CONSIDERED.

Nanoli stud Pune derby 2008 to be run on 12 Oct 08 is reduced to only six runners, Autonomy, Dancing Dynamite, Flaming Ace, Phenomenale are the 4 runners worth considering.
Autonomy is classic horse should be most prominent in Mumbai classics, but in my opinion should not be run in Pune derby. already lost to Flaming Ace in the last race.
Flaming Ace, progeny of China Visit will have stamina limitations, unless stamina is contributed from Dam side, I have doubt about staying the 2000 mtrs trip.
Phenomenale on breeding alone is best among the lot but still early to compete in the derby, May be Pesi Shroff is giving her educative run, considering the classics in Mumbai. Dancing Dynamite on all accounts should win Pune Derby.

group. Considering Indian Breeding pattern I am using a novel way

for evaluating pedigree. I am removing dosage contribution of

Sires, as Razeen,Placerville & Glory of Dancer have already produced

black type winners and need no introduction. I am considering Dam side

Dosage contribution of dam side for above runners

All Heart DP= 4-0-4-0-0 ( 8) DI= 3.00,CD=1.0

Notice that dosage points are less than 10, Centre of distribution is same

for all 3 CD=1.0 which denotes stamina supplied by the dam side is same

for all the three runners, if consider the produce record

Double wish (Star wish,Salame namste) Queen Ann( Bourbon King,Star Chieftan,

Self Appointed.) All Heart is a new producer but already Autonomy is PBM winner.

Double wish is on the bottom table, but Queen Ann & All heart both produced

PBM winners.

Now I consider Pune Race track, A unique track witnessing only one defeat of

Elusive Pimpernell by Consequence on all India basis. ( Personally it is the

first event which gave me the confidence to predict astrologically). Historically

Pune derby has always produced fluke winners, Pune derby winner normally do

not continue the winning streak in Indian classics. Dancing Dynamite has already won

with 60 Kg defeating Bourbon queen, For additional 200 mtrs of running BQ may

avenge the defeat. Autonomy lost in SAP last week due to excellent ridding of

Jockey Shreenath. PBM winners do not win the classics as 4 year old but Autonomy

my be an exception like Forest Fantasy. Pune track and distance may be more

suitable for Dancing Dynamite & Bourbon Queen.Gentle knight, Divine, Juventus

Saltoro are other runners & their jockeys can repeat the story for Autonomy.We will

know on Oct 12. I could not get the pedigree charts for above 4 runners.I have posted

In Dosage only first four generations of pedigree is taken into consideration. Designated chef de race(CDR) sires are used. These CDR is assigned to one or two aptitudinal groups. There are five groups based on distance, covering from left to right of speed to stamina.The assignments are made to best reflect the traits consistently transmitted to their progeny. A series of five numbers that reflect the aptitude is as follows.

Dosage index (DI) is proportional to speed potential in the pedigree. More number means more speed, hence sprinting ability.

CD is balance point which gives speed and stamina. An exact balance of speed and stamina gives CD of 0, sprinters have more speed hence CD is +1 or +2 and even more.

-CD less than 0 gives more staying ability.

There is a direct correlation between DI or CD and performance at varying distance.

Turf winners have more points in Solid & Professional aptitude. Dirt winners have more points in brilliant and intermidiate aptitude.

Thoroughbred Industry – Astrological Perspective

Thoroughbred industry developed in seventeenth century in Europe, after the Foundation Sires (e.g. Eclipse 1764, Herod 1785 & Matchem 1748), Arabian stallions were mated with local breed and a new breed emerged called Thoroughbred. Then with the start of Epsom Derby in 1780 and Kentucky Derby 1875 development of Thoroughbred continued to be limited in Europe and Northern America.

As per physics any kind of effect is produced due to certain cause, Astrologers try to find the cause of any event or the factors operative behind it as astrology is a science hence cause and effect are used in methodical fashion. For this, astrologers take into consideration Solar & Lunar Eclipses, Planetary conjunctions, etc. Solar eclipses have a marked effect on the society that is visible in Political, Economical, and Geographical events. Normally any solar eclipse occurs in particular geographical area. Sometimes earthquakes, cyclones or such kind of natural calamities is followed in that particular geographical area. For example, the year Gutenberg invented printing press (1452) Copernicus theory of Sun as a center (1543), Newton’s laws of Physics (1687) and Einstein theory of Relativity (1905) were all years that particular Saros Series of 128 was producing eclipses. 1452, 1543, 1687, 1905 are all astronomically and astrologically to one Saros Series.

These are the years when published papers bought revolution in that particular field. Normally 19 to 20 Saros Series are running at a time. In order to study, to carry out research about Saros Series I wanted data for long period (Family History Records, events with specific data), which can be correlated with an individual Saros Series.As thoroughbred pedigrees data is available for more than 200 years in documented form for research purpose, I started analyzing thoroughbred pedigrees extensively. In this I have checked various theories about breeding such as Dosage Index, X Factor, Female Families, Heart Size, Nick Factor etc & thoroughbred industry as a whole. We found Dosage Index theory of Dr. Steve Roman a much better technique and particularly suitable in order to combine with astrological science. In “Dosage Index
Theory” speed and endurance have been classified in 5 types that can be assigned to 5 planets : Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter & Saturn. Astronomical data of these planets perfectly matches with the 5 traits propagated by Dr. Steve Roman ( B, I, C, P, S). These planets have periodicity of variable years. The same conditions, same situations are repeated and the possibility of traits of particular Chef-De-Race Sire replicating in the foal is very high and can be analyzed with astrological science. Originator of Dosage Theory French man Lt. Col. Astrologically and astronomically our research found that this period is in multiples of 18, 36, 54, 72… years etc. Thoroughbred industry development is particularly correlated with Saros Series 133 (NASA Number). On the website of NASA complete details of all the Saros Series are given which had beginning on July 13, 1219 8.21 GMT and will end on August 17, 2463 and its maximum influence Eclipse was on August 17, 1868.

The theme of this Saros Series as defined by Australian astrologer Bernadette Brady has been given as under:

Most of the thoroughbred breeders must have experienced above expressions. The following years of above Saros Series have produced Eclipses which are important with respect to breeding industry.

These are important years for thoroughbred industry as a whole and also for Chef de Race Sires in general. The “Non-Existent” industry has developed in Dubai after 1994. In future, South America, South Africa, Australia, New Zeeland are the geographical areas where breeding industry will come into prominence. South East Asia and particularly India shall witness a major growth in thoroughbred industry. Even though, despite having a colonial legacy from British and Horse Racing continuing in India since ages TB industry is not developed as required. There was no support from the government and the society, may be gambling and speculation is considered as EVIL because of EPIC WAR OF MAHABHARATA; but there is a change, there is a support from the Indian government and Indian breeders have expanded their horizons and exporting their breeds to Dubai, Malaysia & Singapore. In our opinion, there is a bright future for the Indian TB Industry.
Concluded, we would like to reiterate the fact that Astrology is a science based on realistic astronomical factors and can be implemented for improvement of the thoroughbred.

Epsom Derby 2008, Belmont Stakes 2008

As specifically stated the nature of the day was favorable for favorites. Except one
race where Jay Peg was 50 to 1 shot in all other races favorites have won the
races. In our view First 2 or 3 horses on the tote boards have always a chance to
win. In the derby Honor Devil has won, COCOA BEACH & LIGHT GREEN have

We are promoting astrological science as a tool for enhancing the odds of success. Astrological symbolism is a good way to find the winners and name of a thoroughbred is an important aspect in it.
